Contractual OT Mental Health Consulting

Services & Specialized Consultative Services

Counselors are available via telehealth for persons with MI diagnoses across the lifespan, individual and couples counseling available.

Therapeutic Solutions has been providing contractual mental health services in North Carolina since 2003. It currently provides services to people with mental illnesses, substance abuse disorders and/or developmental disabilities. Independent contractors are licensed counselors and occupational therapists with specialized knowledge in mental health. Services are available to individuals as well as organizations and facilities that serve groups and populations with mental health diagnoses.

OT contractors provide assessments and consultation for organizations that serve people with IDD and/or MI diagnoses as well as Specialized Consultative Services to individuals and their families under the Innovations Waiver.

Specialized Consultative Services are provided under the Innovations Waiver and include *family caregivers and staff training and technical assistance in a specialty area such as occupational therapy and other specializations. Allows for evaluations for equipment when State Plan service limits have been exhausted and helps family caregivers learn how to use specialized equipment such as assistive technology, home modifications and van modifications.
