Wayne Faison provides contractual counseling services for teens, men across and couples. He also provides group treatment, workshops and consulting. Wayne has over 17 years of mental health experience and is a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC), a licensed clinical addiction specialist (LCAS-A) and a Christian counselor.

Independent Contractors Available to Serve People throughout North Carolina

All therapists are independent contractors and make their own schedules. Therapists have specialized knowledge in their area of practice and function independent of clinical supervision from Therapeutic Solutions. Dr. Tomeico Faison is the founder and CEO of Therapeutic Solutions. She founded Therapeutic Solutions in 2003 with a focus on serving populations that are typically under-served. She has a Masters degree in OT from UNC Chapel Hill, a certification in low vision rehab from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a certification in business coaching from NC State.  Dr. Faison recently completed her doctoral studies at BU with a focus on social entrepreneurship. She is dedicated to creating opportunities to serve under-served populations with excellence.

Occupational Therapy Contract Position:
Therapeutic Solutions is seeking a fully licensed occupational therapy contractor for growing consultative services in NC. The ideal candidate(s) will have a strong background in working with people across the lifespan with intellectual and developmental disabilities in maximizing participation in activities of daily living. Additionally, the candidate must have a strong administrative background and the ability to work independently. The contractual time frame is for three months with an option to renew for an additional nine months pending outcomes. There is also an opportunity for growth and future employment. 

Rate-$6000 per month @ 32 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the functional abilities and limitations of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Develop individualized treatment recommendations via consultative services to address the specific needs and goals of each client (Make recommendations for home modifications, sensory interventions, social participation, etc)
Educate and train relevant team members for intervention implementation
Collaborate with care coordinator and other family members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients
Educate clients and caregivers on effective strategies for managing daily basic and instrumental activities of daily living, work and leisure activities
Stay up-to-date on the latest assistive technologies and adaptive devices to enhance the independence of clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with healthcare team members per regulatory requirements of referral entities
*Collaborate with CEO to grow referral base-90 day initial contractual terms prior to renewing for remainder of year (12 month contract with potential for employment and growth incentives)

Qualifications:
Current license to practice as an occupational therapist in the state of North Carolina (new graduates considered pending passing board exam; Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities required; Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently and as part of an interprofessional team; Compassionate and person-centered approach to consultative services; Please email CV to admin@tsofnc.com and tomeico@tsofnc.com
