Therapeutic Solutions opened in 2003 to provide consultative services to six group homes in the Wake County area. The company grew exponentially after opening and within two years, was providing services to over 24 group homes!

Later on, Therapeutic Solutions added services offering occupational therapy in mental health to local hospitals and began adding subcontractors. Therapeutic Solutions opened its first office in April, 2012 and currently has over ten occupational therapy contractors with diverse backgrounds and experiences. In addition to opening an office in 2012, Therapeutic Solutions also added specialized low vision services in the natural home setting and began accepting Medicare reimbursement for these services.

In 2014, Therapeutic Solutions of NC's low vision occupational therapy home services were nationally recognized in Duke Eye Center's VISION 2014 magazine (pgs. 12-13):

I had the privilege of being coached by Tomeico for about two months as I began the process of developing a community based organization. Tomeico is fully invested in her relationship with her clients and in helping them to be successful. She listened to all of my concerns and questions and guided me through the process in order to come to solutions. Tomeico is a true professional who takes pride in the services that she offers and provides nothing less than the best.
